MemberI have been using lemon juice and low sodium seasoning on my salads, but I’m ready for a change. What are some other options I can try that are low in calorie?

MemberApart from lemon juice, I also use small amounts of olive oil (with green salads), and regular light yogurt works with fresh cucumber and tomatoes. However, not everyone likes it. I suggest you try it and see how it works for you. The main problem is finding a low-fat yogurt that’s tasty enough… 😀

MemberBalsamic and other vinegars are also wonderful, and can be used with or without a dash of olive or canola oil and/or garlic powder.
A note about lemon juice with olive oil – this combinatiion with vegetables has been found in research to be very, very beneficial to health. It is worth the extra fat exchange (if you’re counting calories, it is only 42), when you can spare it.

MemberHi, DebbieSmith78. It depends on the ingredients – if they are all whole, natural, and minimally processed, then absolutely!
