coneflowerMemberI started just last week, have lost only 3 pounds but I had not shopped until yesterday so I’m sure things will improve! I have a question…I had been using olive oil to cook with prior to starting with the Trim Down Club…I found it flavoured things like fish or if I used it in my baking powder biscuits it flavoured them too. I found grape seed oil and started using it just a short while ago and my husband and I really like it…I was wondering what you think of it health wise?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, coneflower. Three weeks is a lot for one week. Remember that this is not a weight loss diet, but a way of eating based on your healthy weight. Slow translates to permanent, in contrast to rapid weight loss that is frequently linked to rebound weight gain.
Olive oil is highly recommended (extra-virgin for cold foods, regular light for cooking). Grapeseed oil is higher in omega-6 fatty acids, which most people get too much of, so we don’t generally recommend it. Note also that is often processed in a manner that produces less desirable chemicals. - AuthorPosts
