bakerlooMemberIf you’re supposed to eat a protein with every carb why did the menu planner provide several snacks that are only fruit?

lisa260260MemberWhat did it recommend? For me, when I’m given an odd combination, I just hit that “cyclone” icon by the food and I’m usually able to find a suitable substitute.

lisa260260MemberOn the 14 day quick start meal plan, there are specific serving sizes, 1 cup of this & 1/2 cup of that….. So is my husband supposed to have the same serving sizes as I have? 1C rice is too much for me, but he would be ok w/that much…….

bakerlooMemberThe cyclone only provided another fruit so not sure this is correct.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, bakerloo. One snack per day is currently just a fruit, and that snack is toward the end of the day, at a time when protein is less critical. If you find you are very hunger toward dinnertime, by all means add a small protein serving to the fruit.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, lisa260260. Your husband probably has nutritional needs that are different from yours. If you want, you can list your and his heights and weights, and I can give you an estimate of how to convert the portion sizes.
