There is just too much eating thru out the day. I’m hoping for quick results by eating the lunch and dinner menu. Any one else finding results this way?

Hi, malmq. Several people have noted at the beginning of their experience here that it seemed like a lot of food, mainly because they were used to diets being based on deprivation.
One of the main principles of the program is to not skip early meals and not concentrate intake later in the day. These actions slow down your metabolic rate and strain your organs. If it is too much food, the following actions are preferable (one or the other):
    1. Add physical activity – exercise burning off the extra food doubles the benefit.
    2. Make small reductions in the fats and carbs you eat, but keep in mind that eating too little can also slow down your metabolism.
    3. Another approach: what about the eating is too much? Volume? Preparation? Time? We can troubleshoot with you for an optimal solution.

I also feel like it is too much food. I could not eat my entire lunch today, it had 5 different foods. Since I turned 50 a few years ago I cannot get the scale to budge no matter what I eat, even though I am very active. When I mentioned it to my Dr, he said just eat less. . Eating 6 times a day can be a real challenge plus I feel like this will cause me to gain weight. I have only been following the plan for four days, hope this will work

It does seem like a lot of food but one of the things my doctor always tell me is that I do not eat enough, often enough which causes my body to go into starvation mode and therefore store fat. This is also noted in the introduction to this program.
malmg, I can tell you from experience that skipping meals and just doing lunch and dinner will not work. I did that for years and was convinved that I was doing a good thing. My belly fat says differently. Lets all try to stick to the full plan for at least 3 weeks and see how we feel and what the scales say at that time. Lets not get discouraged too soon.
