I was wondering if “Splenda” as sweetener is ok ?
Hi, Gaetz. Splenda is not recommended in this program because it is artificial. Artificial sweeteners have been shown in research to work against weight loss efforts. Natural non-caloric sweeteners are recommended here, such as Stevia or monk fruit (which has less of an aftertaste). Xylitol is another alternative – it has 2/3 the calories of sugar, and much less of an effect on blood sugar.
