Ok, So I LOVE peanut butter in the morning on a sourdough english muffin. I can live with a different english muffin, but not my natural old home peanut butter with sea salt. BUT its not on any of the meal choices. Can anyone weigh in on this for me? My peanut butter does not have any added sugar, just peanuts and sea salt. I thought this was a good protien source in the morning?
Hi, Smolinski. Peanut butter is under “nut butter” in the menu planner under Proteins – Nuts. It is considered a high-fat protein, so if it doesn’t come up, try cutting out other fats, or just swap it in for an egg or cheese or regular nuts that may come up. What you described sounds great, and if you don’t eat much more than a tablespoon or two at a time, there is no reason it can’t be part of your daily intake.
