Hello everyone. I have a question. How crucial is it to choose grass-fed beef? Seems to me like it’s pretty hard to find and quite expensive as well!!
Hi, Fidodido. Where are you located? If you have a membership to Costco, their Niman ranch line is OK. If not, see if you can fet “natural”/organic if it is available – usually you can find these products at Whole Foods Market. If not, then just try to get the leanest beef you can.
In a nutshell, grass-fed product support your efforts here because they are generally much leaner than other beef products, do not have the hormones that can contribute to weight gain (these are absent from the organic products), and contain more of the good fats that are needed to balance your metabolism and support prevention and management of health risks related to weight.
