Ingredients
- 1 ugli fruit or:
- similar citrus, such as 1 orange or 2 tangerines
- 1 pink grapefruit
- ½ cup / 12 g fresh basil, chopped
- 4 tsp. / 20 ml lemon juice
Directions
- Slice the ugli fruit half in half again. This will make it easier to peel. Once the peel is off, separate it into sections and remove from the thick sectional casing.
- Place the ugli fruit in a bowl. Peel the grapefruit and remove the bitter white pith.
- Roughly chop the grapefruit and add it to the bowl with the ugli fruit.
- Add the basil and lemon juice and refrigerate for one hour to let the flavors meld.
