I require help from fellow mommies. I find it exhausting coming home from work and making 2 separate meals. I don’t want my active teenagers to lose weight. So far I’ve tried- them-chicken legs, me-chicken breasts.
Them-lasanga, me- lasagna with ground turkey and less cheese. I would welcome any other ideas you’ve tried.
Hi, Marli. Until your fellow moms chime in, I just want to suggest that you have them participate in upgrading food selections. It might take a little more time for your own progress than if you did it yourself, but in the end, it may pay off for all of you. Little compromises can sometimes help as well, such as finding extra-lean beef or ground red turkey (most out there is white), and gradually moving everyone toward the ideal, with them with you – if not in the driver’s seat, then at least co-piloting.
