I notice that bananas are not on my list of alternative fruits. Are they a no no?
That’s strange. I have half a banana on several of my breakfast menus!
I’ve not seen bananas either in my menu planner list nor have they come up on the alternative fruits. Wonder if it is because I’ve ticked the low sugar option in the menu planner.
Yes, bananas are not in the low-sugar lists. If you really like, them than just swap in 1/2 for another fruit serving.
Thanks Ossie that is useful to know. I have a problem with all processed sugars but I’m ok with them in their natural state in fruit etc so it’d be nice to be able to have half a one sometimes. The other half I can pop on a stick and put in the freezer, which I used to do as a sugar free ice for another day. 🙂
