MemberStart drinking a lot of water. Take how much u weigh and divide by 2 and drink that amount of water each day. Water is a natural toxin cleanser, it removes all impurities from your system and it also helps cravings( cold water burns calories and warm water helps stay full. Hope this tip helps!

MemberIve heard that if you eat LEAN protein like white meat you will burn the fat. It has worked for me in the past. Just stuck in a rut right now.

MemberI have back problems, so crunches and sit ups are not an option for me, but what I can do is lie on my back and lift my legs and do a bicycle motion. It doesn’t pull my back or hurt my neck…I can even put a pillow under my head and seem to feel the same results.

MemberI also hurt my back about 2.5 years ago, and that injury was the decline of my fitness. I have gained 40lbs and it seems my back hurts doing the things I loved to do, so I just stopped. I can no longer dance or crunches or even ride horses. Now I am always depressed and having a hard time getting out of it. Belly fat is the worst thing ever. All of my fat is in my belly and I hate wearing anything but baggy sweats. How do you work your waist line if you cant twist?

MemberGood question! I, too have a back injury,a fractured hip, torn labrum around the hip socket, knee replacement surgery. I’m going to physical therapy. They don’t know much what to do with me. The hip is on the left ,the knee is on the right. I’m doing underwater tread mill and exercises. Since I’ve been on this diet I’ve lost 36 pounds. But I know if I could exercise I would be toning up. Anna ,a girl in our group Successful Beginnings and Support has put a link to chair exercises for people with back problems. I think I’m going to give them a try.

MemberI had my right hip replaced last January 2013 and this January I had my right shoulder replaced. Its been tough to do any kind of physical exsorcise but I have been walking a lot and that has helped. Since I have been on this diet I have lost 23 lbs.

MemberI pulled my Total Gym out of the corner, dust it off, and began just the simple stretching motions on it. I’ve added exercises to it weekly and am starting to see belly fat melt, and actually feel some toning. I think if you find something that works and stick with you will see results. I listen to music or something on tv so the time just passes. I also say a mantra like: “I am strong.”

MemberI like to think that since my belly is first to add fat it should be the first to give it away so while I sweat I imagine it melting.
