I am new to this, and I am really going to try. Do you have to eat everything it says on the list. like on the snacks, it gives you three things, do you have to eat all three snacks, or does that just give you a list of what snacks you can have at that time? I work, and some of the snacks would be really hard to take to work. And the same with the meal section. If there are three things and I only eat two of them is that going to make this diet not work?

Hi, Ram. The TDC plan is to incorporate a balance of protein, starch, fat and fruit or veggie. It is very important that you eat some of all the offerings on your menu. On your personal menu, there are little arrows to the right of each food that allows you to switch out for easier-to-take along foods for carrying to work in an insulated bag. I have been at this a year, and I promise, it gets easier! 😉

I found with the meal planner is to only tick the things you would like to eat at each meal. For example I only want bread for my snacks so that snack page is the only page I have it ticked on, I only have yogurt ticked in the breakfast page etc. If you can think of snacks that will be easier for you to take to work and tick those and untick anything that would be difficult that should help.

My first day that I have signed up for TDC. About 10 years ago I use to be on ediets which gave me a very handy grocery list with my meal plan for the week. Is there any where on TDC that does the same?

Hi, Tomsgirl. Yes, after you make out your menu for the week, you can print off a grocery list for the things you chose to eat for the week. Just mark off the things you may already have and, voila! you are ready to go!! 🙂
