Is there a type of green tea that doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste
Hi, Smlindsay. Perhaps try a naturally flavored green tea, e.g. with mint leaves or orange zest.
I am allergic to green tea, is there an substitute that I can use instead?
Hi, Jwellmak. You can make cinnamon “tea” from cinnamon sticks.
Slimmer’s Tea:
Ingredients
1 liter green tea
1 lime, juice of
1 orange, juice of
1 lemon, juice of
Serving Size: 2 oz / 57 g slice
Exchanges per Serving: 2 Carb, 3 Protein, 1 Veg
Question #1
Serving Size is really 2 oz?
Question #2
How does 2 oz of this liquid yield 3 Protein Exchanges?
What am I missing?
Hi, Bunny, and thanks for the heads-up. That was a glitch, of course, and has been corrected.
My daily drinks of choice are black coffee from 4 AM to 10 AM, plain water from 10 until 5 PM or so and a glass or 2 of Arizona Diet Green Tea after that until 7 PM when I quit drinking anything until morning. I do not drink sports drinks, booze of any type or sodas at all. Are the 2 glasses of Arizona gonna be a bad problem? Thanks, Don
Hi, GolferDon. It’s great to read that you keep up with your fluid needs. We don’t generally recommend the types of artificial sweeteners such as those in diet drinks like the Arizona Tea. If you can perhaps make your own tea (ideally from loose leaves in a ball) and add a high-quality sweetener such as erythritol or Stevia (or a combination). If you use tea bags, be sure to rinse them gently in cool water (don’t squeeze!) to remove the chemicals in the paper before using.
Hi just wanted to say hello its the start of my journey fed up with yo yo dieting now going to develop a taste for green tea
Best wishes Shelley Hewitt
What can we drink please?
Hi, antonin. Water (including carbonated and steeped waters) and teas (especially green and herbal) are excellent.
