I just joined today and it seems that whole grain foods are key to success on this program. I have been battleing diverticulitis for the past 6 months so I can’t eat whole grains or nuts or anythin with seeds which includes a lot of fruits and vegetables. Any advise on how to succeed with these limitations?

Hi, Regynaf, and welcome. Hopefully you are being followed by a healthcare practitioner who is familiar with your case and will let you know when you can return to whole grains. Nuts, seeds, and popcorn will, unfortunately, probably always be off your list.
Regarding the rest, there are other features of the diet that can help, so don’t worry too much. First, you can cook vegetables and even some fruits, and that will lessen the risk. Second, be sure to go for unprocessed/unrefined foods in the other food groups. Finally, you will still benefit from the portions, timing, and food combinations. Feel better!

Thank you, I am under the care of a healthcare specialist at this time. I will focus on the rest of it for now. The hardest is giving up nuts, I love them and they are a great snake for this program.
