Tagged: Milk UK
Hi Everyone I have only just joined. I am from the UK. Are the ingredients from the USA as I don’t recognise what some of the food is or the explanations?
eg: 1 cup of Milk, organic vegan or pasture-raised low-fat (1-2% – Is that skimmed milk? can I substitute
this for rice milk?
Looking forward to a healthier diet
Hi, MissSlender. Nonfat milk is skimmed milk, where 1-2% is semi-skimmed. You can substitute with rice milk, but do make sure it is fortified with vitamins and calcium.
I use unsweetened coconut milk. Is this acceptable?
Hi, dmenez. If it is the type in a carton and is fortified with calcium and vitamin D, yes. Just note that it does not have protein.
