    1. A lot of the protein etc. are listed as organic/free range/grass fed, etc. I cannot afford organic butter at approx. $9/lb. vs regular at $3.99/lb. I try to buy organic if I can but it is very expensive here. Does this mean that this program does not work if you don’t use organic, grass fed, etc.

    2. I have one cup of coffee every morning with approx. 3 tbsp. of half/half cream. I always have a glass of water that I drink in between sips of my coffee. As our water is chlorinated, I drink approx. 10 glasses of purified water each day. I drink green tea and black tea the rest of the time. Sometimes I have 1% milk in my tea but just can’t stand coffee with milk. Do I have to give up the cream in my coffee?

    Thank you.

Hi, Sharon. No worries. Yes, it will work – it is all about doing better than you did before, not being perfect. We just encourage the ideal. By the way, if you have a CostCo membership, their meats are excellent.
Regarding the half-and-half, have what you like, but do be sure to count the 3 Tbsp. as one fat exchange (equal to a teaspoon of oil or butter). Deprivation is not that great for weight loss.
