RubytwoshoesMemberDo coffee and green tea count as part of the 10 cups of water? How many ounces in a glass as needed? Is stevia a good sweetener for green tea or is it not good to use?

MrsMarcrum1513MemberStevia is a very healthy sweetener. I don’t see why you could not use it for tea. Since I started I been using stevia as a substitute sweetener for a lot of stuff. You can use it for coffee too. I would just recommend skim milk, or coconut milk for the creamer.

cherylb1MemberI also use Stevia as a sweetener for my coffee and I use fat free Half and Half. Does anyone else use a fat free Half and Half?

RubytwoshoesMemberI have heard that coffee and tea are diuretics, so don’t count as part of the water requirement. Is this true?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Cheryl. We don’t recommend fat-free half-and-half because it is processed in a way that can work against your goals here. Something like low-fat (2%) milk is better.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Ruby. For the most part that is true, but not entirely, since it can still be cleanshing.

lucy0914MemberI use light vanilla almond breeze in my coffee gives me the added flavor with out all the extra bad stuff. and I use stevia for a sweeter. I need my coffee in the morning but I don’t count it as water intake. I use a 48 oz water bottle during the day and drink it through out the day refilling it at least once a day.
