1)I have been eating whole wheat pasta instead of white pasta for the last bunch of yrs. I would like to know if this program allows for that and if so can this be added into the menu choices? What is 1 cup of whole wheat pasta equivalent to?
    2) I am having trouble eating all the food that is required on a daily basis. It seems to be to much times. If I do not eat it all will this effect my weight loss? If so what suggestions do you have?
    Looking forward to your advise.

    Hi, MayaMarlee.
    1) Whole wheat pasta is great. 1 cup is equal to 1 cup of brown rice pasta (160 grams cooked).
    2) I am happy to read that you are not hungry on this program, and that you are aware of your hunger and satiety cues. If you would like to cut back, please do make sure of a few key things:
    – Get at least 5 total servings of fruits+vegetables per day
    – Get a good source of protein at breakfast, and make sure that you eat a source of protein with each carb (unless it is just a piece of fruit here and there).
    – Eat most when you are most active
    – Don’t cut back so much that you get into “deprivation diet” territory
    – If you have cut back and start to feel hungry toward the end of the day or find you have odd cravings, try to add some foods back into the earlier part of the day.

Thank for your reply..I have one more question. Passover is coming up this week. How does matzah fit into this program? For example what does 1 matzah board equate to? What is 1 matzah ball equate to?
Hoping for a prompt reply since the holiday starts tomorrow night.

Hi, MayaMarlee. Two matzoh balls = 1 carb, 1 matzoh = 2 carbs. Happy Passover!
