I started on the program today, not totally but trying to experience the difference eating better foods. I have the most horrible time motivating myself to exercise.
I used to do all kinds of work-outs. Now I’m 51 now with many autoimmune disorders that leave me fatigued. Would it be better for me to allow the foods to give
me the energy to exercise or should I should I just try to push through the fatigue? Also, what are good exercises besides walking?
Hi, Janie50. I would suggest to ease into everything. Start with a few minutes of exercise – 5-10 minutes here and there of something not too intense, a few days a week – then gradually build up minutes, intensity, frequency as you start to feel better. Try doing easy calisthenics in front of the TV, or in bed to lull yourself to sleep (i.e. simple leg lifts). It adds up.
