In my weekly menu, almost every day’s snacks contain 3 cups of organic popcorn. That seems like so much to eat and so fattening. Why is there so much of this as a snack?
Hi Marshall I’m a popcorn-a-holic, also diabetic so I can certainly understand your concerns. I joined a month ago and felt the same. If you measure out 3 cups of popped popcorn, it’s a nice, comfortable serving. Also, popcorn on it’s own, is very low cal. If you are like most of us, it is the margarine, butter, oil and salt that make this so high calorie(ie, movie popcorn) Anyway, enjoy and look forward to your snacks! Keep up the good work.
