When you marinate meats in liquer or in liquid marinades that you can pour off that might have sugar in them…Since you pour it off , how do you count it?
I only use homemade marinades ,but I WAS JUST WONDERING.
So, I’m using natural sugars, except for hoisin sauce.
I marinated chicken in cognac and beer and poured it off and grilled it!!
Hi, Debbie. Just try to keep track of how much you added to begin with and measure the amount you pour off – the difference is what you need to count.
Makes sense!!! Thanks!
