BlockedI’ve written a bit about rebound weight gain that happened while I was stressed and sick (eating too little, mostly processed, easily-digested carbs because I could tolerate them). After I got better, my first impulse was–despite knowing better–to starve and punish my body for protecting me.
I consciously refused to do that and the weight is coming off again. It occurred to me that if we want to lose weight and keep it off, we have to be kind to our bodies.
I explain the logic and the physiology here: http://blog.trimdownclub.com/erin/2014/06/15/being-kind-to-your-body/

BlockedHi, Joankadmiri, the 60-day challenge was a little something I thought up. I’m a Trim Down Club writer who wants to lose about 25 pounds, so I decided to do the program, and asked everyone who wanted to, to join me for 60 days. (Because it’s just easier to get stuff done when you have a deadline.) You can find more at http://www.trimdownclub.com/forums/topic/tah-dah-announcing-the-60-day-challenge/. Links are in blue. Also, there’s a whole “60-Day Challenge” tab at the top of the page: http://blog.trimdownclub.com/60-day-challenge/.
Soem of us have done amazing things, like Anna, Debbie and Katie, and I’m really happy with my accomplishments, so I’m gonna keep on keepin’ on probably though the end of October for sure. Be happy to have you join me.
Best,
