I have just joined Trimdownclub and trying to plan menus. I don’t recognise three quarters of the food mentioned and can’t even find 6 carbohydrates that I know I would eat and so can’t get started. We Brits don’t eat in the same way as Americans, especially food combinations. There is no way I can eat the amount of food suggested. Is anyone else overwhelmed by the foods suggested? I don’t know where to go from here and am wondering what I paid my £37 for. I am also not familiar with American expressions and can’t find my way round the website either. Pathetic aren’t I! If you have had the same problems please tell me what you did to overcome them.

Hi, don’t worry , if you look on the forum you will see lots of us Brits saying the same thing! At first it looks terrifying but there is a lot of help out there and it Does get easier! You don’t have to change everything you normally eat completely, just make small changes as you get used to the different foods. I am sure you will find the web sites that will explain British equivalents. I only joined a few days ago and have already seen results. Join the group for the Brits and we will all help you! Don’t be worried about asking questions, I do it all the time! Good luck!
