shaganeMemberSigned up, following the link, advertising that we will be told which 5 foods to avoid. Never got any information, just some recipes and very generic ‘nutritionist’ advise.
Is this whole think a gimmick?August 11, 2014 at 9:58 pm #22470
jennyjmcMemberI just signed up too. I think it was concentrated fruit drinks like orange juice, white bread and polyunsaturates/transfats as first three and then promised two more at the end. Can’t remember if I saw those. The first three was stated what most people would have for breakfast and all very bad for you. An orange, whole grain bread and real butter is healthier. I am not sure at the moment how well spent the £37 was either.

dluttmanMemberThe five foods were 1 No concentrated fruit juices, 2. No Margarine (transfatts) 3. No whole wheat bread (this can include pastas, apple pie, cakes, muffins, pizza – comfort foods) 4. No soy (stay away from processed food) 5. NO GMO corn

WAngelaMemberI signed up just over a week ago. At first I wasn’t sure if it was a gimmick. But as iv slowly worked out how to use the website it’s become easier and clearer. Because it’s an American company some of the terminology is different and supermarket products have different names, which I find annoying, I think it should have been adapted for the British market. But Iam going to continue with the 8 week challenge. Good luck everyone.

snolvrconMemberI think it’s NO WHEAT BREAD. Seems whole wheat bread was okayed. That’s what I heard. How do we access the trim down club nutritionist?

2. Regular margarine
3. Regular “whole” wheat bread
4. Regular preserved orange juice
5. Non-organic and processed soyAugust 12, 2014 at 6:39 pm #22500

missyholcombMemberI just signed up and am looking for restaurant eating because I travel a lot for my job and will not be able to cook my own food all the time. I did pack snacks today – almond, grapes and blueberries ate a subway chicken salad for lunch and am wondering what to do for dinner.

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Missy. Green salads are always a good idea, especially if you order dressing on the side. Try dishes without heavy cream or deep fat frying, and avoid table fillers (chips or bread) and sugary drinks. If the portions are too large, take the extra away in a doggy bag so you’re not tempted.

fatfreebabyMemberI just watched the video. 1) all concentrated fruit drinks such as orange juice concentrate because the concentration process takes out the fiber. 2) margarine 3)whole wheat breads, pastas, cakes, pizza. 4) processed soy – soy milk, tofu. 5) corn
