gratefullbullMemberI should be on week two and I haven’t started yet. I cannot eat nuts or seeds, so that first week menu put me off right away. I figured out how to use the menu planner. I bought some brown rice pasta and sprouted whole grain bread, some vegetables and fruits, but I’ve been busy or too sleepy to put together a real shopping list from a menu – and I have no energy to cook in the evenings. I actually took today off with no pay because I don’t feel good and will do some housework and get a sensible shopping list together. I will really try to cook ahead this weekend so that I’m not stuck eating half a package of rice cakes for dinner. I could use some coaching here. Is it possible to just start over and not try to catch up to the “challenge”?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, GratefullBull. Yes, of course, you can start over – you can repeat the weeks as often as you like. As for not eating nuts or seeds, don’t worry about it – you can substitute with cheese, olives, and vegetables (each ounce of nuts or seeds = 1 ounce of hard cheese or 1/4 cup ricotta/cottage cheese + a few olives or 1/4 cup avocado + 1 cup of vegetables).
