cheese is not my most favorite food, can’t seem to swallow the stuff; mainly use in toasted cheese sandwaich or mixed in with hot food to melt it. have always read to consume fat free milk and not your first weeks menu lists 2% milk–what’s the reasoning behind this? thanks

Hi, GellyRoll. The intention is simply for you to get enough calcium. If you have other sources – such as green leafy vegetables, tahini, almonds, etc. – you don’t have to eat the cheese.
We don’t recommend fat-free milk because most have dried milk solids added to them to compensate for the color and texture, and the processing involved makes the milk actually makes the milk disadvantageous health-wise.
