Is there some where to find info on when it says half of a 3 inch bagel. Is that a regular size bagel or a small bagel? Do I measure the bagel? I want to be careful to follow correctly, If I knew more about how many calories or carbs was not supposed to go over with a item It would help.
Hi, Merrilee302. We mean a small bagel. Yes, it is recommended that you measure the bagel at least once, to get used to the size difference with other bagel types. For your reference, a medium bagel is about 3.5-4 inches across (serving or “exchange” = 1/3) and a large bagel is 4.5 inches across (exchange = 1/4).
To see how many carbs (as well as other food group exchanges) are allotted to you, you can click on “Exchange View” in the toolbar above your finished menu. The list of exchanges is here: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.
