MommaHMemberJust made my first attempt at created a day’s menu. When I was finished, the dinner menu was shaded grey. What does it mean?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, MommaH. I talked with tech support, and they would like you to contact them (through the “Contact Us” link below), so they can better understand the issue.

MommaHMemberSo sorry, my mistake. Didn’t realize until later that the latest change is shaded.

KaybentonMemberTrying to grasp this menu planning , need to see how some of my favorite meals fit int the nutrition requirements. Also why do the menus not include a salad with meat on it. I have to eat this when I eat lunch out

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Kaybenton. Foods in the menu planner are generally just single food-group items, unless they are a recipe linked to our online collection. No worries, though – just swap whatever protein and salad (or “Vegetables of Your Choice”) for a meat-containing salad.

airamirezMemberWell in creating my own menu, how do I know how many proteins, for breakfast lunch and dinner, how many, carbs, how many fats I need in order for me to lose weight! I did not see anywhere where after you fill in your weight etc., that you all give a certain about for our body weight in order to lose weight? It can’t be the same for everybody?

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, airamirez. You will see the exchanges if you click on “Exchange View” in the toolbar above your finished menu. Exchanges correspond to this list: http://www.trimdownclub.com/exchanges-lists.

airamirezMemberOk I did go to the exchanges and printed the copies but I don’t see anywhere on how many carbs, protein, fats, fruits per meal we are to choose from. Is there a set amount for each meal for everybody?
for example for breakfast, what should I be picking from how many carbs, proteins, fats and fruits?September 8, 2014 at 8:13 am #23151
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, airamirez. If you have already generated a menu in the Menu Planner application, click on “Exchange View” in the toolbar above it to see how many of each food group you have been allotted based on your needs.

SandyGillMemberI can exchange an item in a meal but how can I add (or delete) an item to a meal in the menu planner without having to re-build it
Just started yesterday

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Sandy, and welcome. I assume you are using the Menu Planner application. If so, you can click on the food you wish to exchange, and a list will pop up from which you can choose the replacement.

SandyGillMemberHow can I delete if I do not want a replacement
September 10, 2014 at 2:17 am #23224
Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Sandy. Nearly every food on the menu represents nutrients that you need, and so there isn’t a delete function that can spare generation of a new menu. What sort of things did you want to delete?
