I have just completed my first week. My initial enthusiast carried me through the week quite well.
The biggest challenge is shopping for the specific foods listed in the daily MEAL PLANS.I could find certain products without going to several stores. Figs were not sold in larges stores such as Safeway, No one knew what HERB SAUCE is. Whole Grain products are not as available as I would like. I am adding Whole Food to the stores I will shop along with Safeway and Trader Joe’s .
Any comments are appreciated.

Hi, Michael. Don’t worry too much about specifics – fruit by any other name is just as healthy, and portion sizes are always about the size of your fist. As for herb sauce – that’s just a generic term for fresh or dried herbs mixed with a good oil, broth/stock, or even lemon juice for flavor (not necessarily prepackaged). Whole Foods Market is an excellent source of whole grain and high-quality foods. Again – specifics aren’t as important as the overall concept of whole, fresh, unrefined, unprocesssed…
