hi! i am new to the program and am very excited about its potential. question… the promo video talks about how the right combinations of the right carbohydrates with the right proteins is critical. i know that the meal plans offered by the program are made up of the correct balance, but what is the “combination” or “rules” behind planning your own menus to ensure you’re following the program and eating the right foods with the right foods? (Sorry is this has been asked recently. i couldn’t find it.)
Hi, Meegsie, and welcome! It’s very simple really – the right carbohydrates are those that are high in fiber (and as unrefined as possible, of course), and any wholesome protein (i.e., not overly processed) is a good accompaniment to carbohydrate-rich foods to help keep blood sugar and insulin balanced.
