MemberI am in the process of cleaning out my kitchen cabinets and refrigerator of all of the foods/condiments that were causing me to eat improperly. I will be replacing all of it with the Trim Down Club recommended foods/condiments. I need to know which is best to buy regarding Monk Fruit sweetener (loose powder form in bags not packets). I would like to know the difference between Monk Fruit that is the high intensity concentrated mogroside powder (like sold by Wal Mart and Amazon) and Monk Fruit that is the natural dried whole fruit powder and that is not the high intensity sweetener of concentrated mogroside powder (sold by Bulk Foods). I have included the hyperlink for Bulkfoods.com so you can see what they are selling.

Which do you recommend I buy?

MemberHi, TexasPatriot0203. It looks like you’re off to a good start! 🙂 :). There are two principal differences between the two:
1. Taste
2. Refining and additives.
The bulk product is unrefined, and so has the characteristic brown sugar flavor of relatively unprocessed sweeteners, and does not have additives to balance the sweetness and taste.
We generally suggest to use unrefined products, but concentrated mongrosides are fine, too. I would suggest to get small amounts of each and just stick with what tastes better to you. - AuthorPosts
