jbrooks26MemberHi! My husband is doing the program with me; I’m so glad to share this journey with him. Week 2 and we’re both having a hard time eating all the food. He’s 5’6″, 184, moderately active. I’m thinking, usually men have to have more calories, etc and he should be eating more than what I am. Can you tell me the appropriate portions and breakdowns (carbs, proteins, fats) for him? Also, any advice for eating all this food? I feel like most days I’m forcing myself to eat it all.
Thank you!

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, jbrooks26. That’s great that your husband is involved. First, it is great that you are in touch with your satiety cues – that may be a clue to cut back a little, but be careful not to cut too much. Be sure to get in at least 5 total servings of fruits+vegetables and 3 servings of calcium-rich foods/beverages every day. Also, exercise can sometimes “make room” for foods and boost your health.
With regard to your other question, generally men do need more calories, but in your case, your needs are quite similar – hopefully this will make your journey together easier. - AuthorPosts
