sumbutMemberwhen they give us waffles and pancakes on our menus does that include syrup.. if so what is the healthiest kind to buy and if not what can we use on dry waffles or pancakes

DeborahjjhayesMemberIt does not include syrup… TDC would like you to use all natural products… maple syrup. I boil down fruit with Stevia and vanilla to use for topping on my waffles and pancakes. It is scrumptious on my TDC pumpkin pancakes. The recipe is in out group forum. You can add about two or three Tablespoons of maple syrup to about 4 cups of fruit.. 1/2 cup counts as 1 fruit!! Enjoy.

DeborahjjhayesMemberThis is the website link Ossie gave me when I asked her the same question!
A new supplier of sugar free gluten free ketchup and honey!! Who knew there was such a thing as sugar free honey. Highly recommended by Ossie. I ordered because she suggested it when I asked about sugar free ketchup!
http://www.Nature‘sHollow.com
they also have jams, pancake syrup, sugar free honey, BBQ sauce,
BTW It tastes GREAT!!!!! I didn’t order enough because I wanted to taste it first! Only 15 calories a TBS. a little high in sodium 110mg But it only has 2gm of sugar alcohol. Counts as nothing unless you DRINK it!!hahaNovember 13, 2014 at 1:35 pm #24626

Ossie-SharonMemberHi, Sumbut (and thanks, Debbie!). Pure maple syrup is fine, but do stay away from the artificial types.
