How do you know when a recipe will fit into your menu without changing the menus profile or nutritional or caloric count? Are the recipes interchangeable, i.e bread for bread, starch for starch, meat for meat ect.? Also where do the desserts fit in?
Hi, Judy. You got it! Regarding desserts, each exchange is a “sweet” – you’ll see you have at least one per day in your menu. If you want more, note that each serving is equal to 1 carb + 1 fat.
