Does anyone know if green beans are an allowed veggie? I don’t see them on the list.
Hi, tbrown62. All vegetables are allowed and even encouraged, it is just a matter of portion size. The range is from 1/2 cup or about 100 grams for starchy ones like potatoes and corn to several cups for “free” ones like lettuce; those like green beans are in the middle, and each portion is about 1 cup. In the Menu Planner application, starchy vegetables are listed under “Carbohydrates,” whereas the rest are listed under “Vegetables”.
Thank you! Another question. What is Fast Food Vegetable? I can’t find that description anywhere.
