MemberI joined a gym a few months ago and I love it but with my extremely busy schedule I have having a hard time balancing healthy eating habits, continuous workouts, and my daily obligations. My mood is grumpy and I am pushing everyone away. When I walk, I feel myself breathing heavily. I weigh 220 pounds when I should only weigh 130. I keep getting motivated and then lose that motivation really fast. What has worked for other people? I am only 21 and shouldn’t feel this way.

Keymastertry to add visits to the gym at the morning before work, it will give you a lot of energy to continue the day.
After couple of hard mornings you will understand that you are putting a lot of effort to your morning trainings and you will start eat better, because of effort that you putted in already.December 9, 2014 at 6:34 pm #25108jennysun
MemberI am 58 years old and never liked go to gym. I like to walk outside everyday but when winter is here, it is very hard to motivate myself to go outside. I live in North Dakota. When I don’t want to go out for walking, I just tell myself “put on your coat and you only need to walk to the corner of the block.” So I did. As I walked to that corner, I told myself “See, you made it here. You can go one more block now.”
break big and hard commitment into small steps makes it is easier for me. And give myself a pat on the back when I made these small progress. 🙂

MemberHi, Jenny. Sounds great! When the weather is particularly bad, you can also walk indoors, i.e. at malls or even march in place in front of the TV during a show.
