When planning a “ready to go” menu, when it lists 30gm goat cheese, hard , why do I not have the option to change it to goat cheese, softened? Is there a huge difference if I were to change to the softened cheese rather than the hard?
Hi, Sumama. There is indeed a notable difference in fat content, but if you’re decreasing the amount, feel free to just make the swap without accounting for it in the menu.
thank you Ossie-Sharon. Sometimes I doubt my own judgement but in reading through some of the questions & answers in these forums, I have come to realize that after a few weeks of studying & using these menus, we will become fairly proficient at making better choices & knowing what can be substituted & the measurements. Thank you for giving us such a good platform to learn upon.
Thanks, Sumama! Happy to help 🙂
