shockj3MemberI am new to this, and have tried many things with no results beyond losing 25 pounds since 2010 when I had a significant cardiac event caused by the unravelling of one of my coronary arteries on the inside. So 18 months of cardiac rehab later, I could and still can go 45 minutes on an elliptical full speed, but continue to just maintain my weight at around 250 – 260. I can backpack for days and generally feel fine, but my pack belt remains in the same position, it needs to change.
Something has to change.
Help and suggestions welcome.

shockj3MemberSo my lunch today consisted of a serving of hot beets, (I will be looking for a way to make this more palatable, but I was able to eat them no problem, and this was my new food for today), cucumber, yellow tomato, 8 croutons, and balsalmic greduction salad, and a whole grain bread sandwich with 3 slices pepper turkey, one tomato, and 1 slice swiss cheese, and a pat of mayo.
I am confident the portion is too much, but I need to start somewhere.
