Can you let me have a recipe for healthy spaghetti Bolognese.
Hi, Annemarie. For your allotted portion of “vegetables of choice,” place chopped onion, celery, and carrot in a non-stick pan over medium with a teaspoon of olive oil, and saute them until lightly browned. For your allotted protein serving for the meal, use ground lean meat (preferably organic/pastured) – add to the vegetables – and saute over high heat until nearly all the pink has turned to brown, about 10 minutes. Add the same amount of tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes in natural juice, along with seasonings such as chopped parsley, oregano, basil and garlic, turn heat down to low, cover, and allow to simmer for about 20-30 minutes, until the vegetables are soft.
