What is the best and healthiest way to enjoy my coffee. I would usually put in half and half and splenda.

I just got started and decided to go Black.

Hi, Karen. Half & half is fine, as long as it is natural. We also recommend non-dairy milks, such as almond and hazelnut. We don’t recommend Splenda because it is artificial and can work against your efforts here, but there are natural options. See our article about this topic for some guidance – http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2/.

I thought all we could drink was water? No coffee, tea or diet soda.I have been good here just water. I have been diligently measuring I eat a raw turnip for the veg. especially when it’s lunch and a veggie is required. It’s got crunch.

Is it ok to use a powdered creamer or stick with the 1/2 and 1/2?

I used stevia and 2% milk. But wonder if we need to balance additives or does morning breakfast balance milk additive?

Hi, Betty. Tea and coffee are fine, as long as you are careful about what you put in it – i.e., sweeteners, whiteners.

Hi, Bender. We don’t recommend the powdered creamers, as they tend to be made up of artificial chemicals and hydrogenated fats that can work against your goals here. Regular half-and-half is better – and usually only requires a splash.

Excited to hear a splas of half and half is ok.. What are thoughts on Organic Agave Nectar as a sweetner?

Hi, troyandkelli. We don’t recommend agave because it can work against your efforts here. For more on sweeteners and what we would recommend, you can refer to our article here – http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2/.
