My doctor wants me to drink a cup of hot lemon water with a small amount of honey each morning. How do I count the lemon. I use 1/2 of lemon for juice. Should it be part of the fruit and if so how much?
Hi, Lindalou. No, lemon and its juice are “free” and does not need to be counted. A small amount of honey – up to a teaspoon each day – is also not a problem.
this is good to know I don’t use the honey but I do use hot water with lemon. Not quite that much though.Thanks.
Thank you so much for responding
Sounds lovely Lemon Water, I suffer with a lot of indigestion I am also a Type 2 Diabetic (tablet) controlled. I have just found out that I may have under/over active thyroid problems, I see a specialist in February. Can anyone give me any advice on how to combat indigestion please.
