MemberI was confused by this as well at first, like yourself, I never ate breakfast. Now I aim to have eaten breakfast by 09:30 – 10:00, I have a snack at 11:30 – 12:00, I aim to eat my lunch by 14:00-14:30, then I snack again at 16:00-17:00 and I make sure I have my dinner eaten by no later than 20:00. Don’t eat after 20:00.
This has worked really well for me, I feel full but not bloated or ill. I am ready to eat at the times that I stated and I remain full till my next snack or meal. I’m no expert but this has worked really well for me and I hope this was helpful in some way.Gemma 🙂

MemberThanks for the recomendation, will set my times accordingly. This along with the other response gives me a better idea of how to manage my meals.
Again thanks!

MemberI struggle with this as well. I often panic when my meal schedule gets compressed. Adjusting to having 6 meals a day is a challenge. The key for me is to have healthy snacks at arms length. Never let yourself get hungry.
My optimal meals are at 8, 10, 12, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm

MemberI’ve had a trainer tell me that you should eat within 40 minutes of rising, so that your body knows you are not planning on starving it. By doing this, it will allow our body to let go of the weight. Otherwise, it will hold onto it, as it thinks you will not feed it.

MemberOh gosh.. I really don’t eat breakfast and that is going to be a challenge for me. I normally don’t wake until 10:AM do to my husbands work schedule. So I am making a daily-by the hour to do list to keep me on track. Hope it helps me stay on track. If anyone has any suggestions It would be awesome.. 😀

MemberHi, deminichols. I would be happy to help. What does the rest of your day look like? When do you retire for the night?

MemberHi .. it’s midday Sunday where I live, so planning to cook up some lunches for work to make sure I’m eating the right things for my first week.

MemberI joined last night (Saturday); but decided to begin on Sunday because I needed some time to figure all these meals out before I go to work on Monday. My challenge will be trying to eat everything while working…..I get so busy, I forget to eat regularly!

MemberHi Ibardel,
I just finished my first week. What helped me was creating alarms on my cell phone to keep me on track. +/- 15 min.Gets difficult with meetings but your meals are important.
Good luck!

MemberI just weighed again. I am back and forth between 173-175 I just read the stuck message. I guess that is me and I am back at it. Not so easy…when weather is up and down so is my mood and my eating habits and my walking.

MemberI know it’s hard not to get discouraged when your weight fluctuates from week to week. But just try to remember that you are not on a diet as much as you are changing your eating habits to making healthy choices. Your body will eventually adjust to the new routine. I lost 5lbs my 1st week, zero lbs the 2nd week and 1lb the 3rd week. Over all it is an average of 2lb a week. I think 1-2 lbs per week is a suitable pace. The more active you can be the better chance to see results. Be cautious of not letting your portion sizes creep up on you….

MemberI am down 15lbs since January 1st and the only real exercise I have been doing is shovelling snow. This doesn’t feel like a diet, I understand the slow pace, I also understand why I lost more in the beginning. Now im averaging 1lb a week it seems, I have more energy and I feel less strained and hungry. There is no stuck if you just try and think of it as living clean….and with less money!! Organic foods are more expensive, but dang they taste SO much better. Be well everyone.
