What is the recommendation as far as pasta sauce goes? I make my own, but do add Classico which has the least sodium and sugar. Also, I still cannot find the “free spreads” list.
nhhicks: As for the list of free spreads – when you see it listed in your menu, click on it and it will pull up the list.
Hi, nhhicks61 (and thanks, Lassiegirl!). Pasta sauce is in the Menu Planner lists, and how it is used depends on the primary ingredient – whether it is tomato-based or cream-based (“red” or “white”). Tomato sauces are generally about 1/2 cup (120 ml) per serving, and cream sauces are usually about 1/4 cup (60 ml) per serving.
