Where do these delicious vegetables fit into the diet?
Hi, pbell29. Green beans are a regular vegetable, and one cup cooked or raw is a vegetable exchange, and green peas are a starchy vegetable, so 3/4 cup raw or 1/2 cup cooked is a carb exchange.
Thanks so much. I like both (and grow them)but was dismayed not to see them on the free list nor was I able yet to figure out the exchange system. Might they be added to one of the lists in the future? I am new to the program but am drawn to the flexiblity and personalization.
Hi, pbell. Green beans are in the vegetable list under “haricots”. Green peas was in the lists, and tech support is checking why they slipped out and will put them back.
