MemberDoes anyone have a good system for getting in all of the veggies in each day? I just finished week one and already bored with my veggies….

MemberHi, Heidik. You can incorporate vegetables into soups (example: http://www.trimdownclub.com/recipe/red-root-supersoup/)and other cooked dishes (example: http://www.trimdownclub.com/recipe/turkey-veg/) and even baked goods (example, http://www.trimdownclub.com/recipe/veggie-velvet-cupcakes/).

Memberthanks for the suggestions…is it common to gain a pound or two at the beginning? this happened to me on weight watchers and with this program. it’s discouraging

MemberHi, Heidi. Yes, it is common. It is your body getting used to eating normal amounts of food after being restricted. You can give your metabolism a nudge through exercise. If you are already physically active, then consider making a few changes to wake up new muscles. You can also try throwing in bursts of intense activity here and there – for example, jogging for 30 seconds every 5 minutes during a walk – and add even light weight training.
