Tagged: yeast with SWG flours
Tell me about yeast. I just bought the swg flours, wh. wheat and spelt. I also ordered a cook book for using those flours. I made a pizza crust with it, but used 2 tsp. yeast like you would making bread. I have made bread and pizza for years. Does yeast change the health aspect of the crust then? The pizza was the best. I used 2 C of the wh wheat flour and it made a 15″ pizza. We make our own sauce using canned T. sauce….and I used 2 cups of veggies: squash yellow and green, fresh spinach and crimini mushrooms and onion. I had one piece…but wanted another! My husband loved it.
Hi, prscott47. No, yeast just adds some good quality protein. Making your own pizza is excellent! Bravo 🙂
Yahoo! The recipe is a little different from breakfast pizza, can I submit it? It could be made, sliced and frozen for a quick reheat. I also make my own yogurt. Can that be shared?
Yes, please! 🙂
