MemberEverything was going great for me… using the site for my meal planning. Just recently, I’ve packed on a few pounds from eating too many vegetables. I’ve had to go off the menu and try to get back my hour-glass shaped body, however slim or fat it was before, I now have a spare tire just under my breasts. I’ve had to invest in expensive Pro-biotics to get my digestive system back on track, and try and deflate this spare tire. So far it’s been a slow process and now I’m gaining back the weight. So frustrated!
Anyone else having the same issues with vegetables?

MemberHi, Blonda. Sorry to read of your discomfort. A few people have reported what you have, but always toward the beginning of the program, when their systems are getting used to eating more vegetables. Do you have a history of medication intake or digestive issues? Were you recently on a liquid weight loss program?

MemberHello,
I’ve not had any eating disorders nor have I ever been on any liquid weight loss diets. Also, I’ve never had any digestive issues. In fact I’ve been eating just about anything you put in front of me and it goes right to my hips without any problems 🙂 The only medicine I take daily is an allergy pill called Zyrtec. During the first few weeks/ months following the trim down menu plan, I lost 9 pounds. Can eating raw vegetables such as cauliflower, cucumbers, celery, and radishes cause this to happen? Would it make any difference if I cooked them?
Thank you

MemberHi, Blonda. Good to ready that you are generally healthy. Yes, those raw vegetables can present a digestive challenge for some people. Cooking them can indeed ease this greatly.
