Are cheeses permitted?. I have a cumin and caraway spiced flavored Gouda cheese, is that ok or not?.
Also, how much time do I need to space out the meals?.
Hi, Alisha. Cheeses are definitely permitted. Each cubic inch of hard fatty cheese like gouda is a protein exchange.
As for meal spacing, most people are comfortable with 2-1/2 to 3 hours between meals.
Is Light Laughing Cow cheese wedge permitted? If yes, how many wedges please?
Hi, Rita. Laughing Cow is a somewhat processed product, though not the worst. Each wedge is a “fat” exchange, so you can substitute itg for a similar item, such as oil or butter.
