We live in an area where there is very little opportunity to purchase “organic” foods, grass fed meats, omega eggs, etc. Will the meal plans not work if I cannot buy the specific items? Also, can we drink diet sodas on this meal plan?
Hi, PML144. You’ll be fine – just do the best you can to eat minimally processed foods.
As for diet sodas, we don’t generally encourage them, but if you find they help you, try to get the types that don’t have saccharine or sucralose. If you can make your own with carbonated water, natural lemon juice and a good sweetener, even better. Our recommendations for sweeteners can be found here – http://www.trimdownclub.com/the-best-way-to-sweeten-your-tea-2.
