Ingredients

  1. 1 cup / 240 ml fresh-squeezed pink grapefruit juice
  2. ½ cup / 75 gm fresh seedless grapes, halved
  3. ½ cup / 90 gm pomegranate kernels
  4. Stevia or monk fruit sweetener to taste
  5. 2-3 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Blend for 30 seconds until smooth. Serve as is or mixed with unflavored soda water.

Serving Size: ֲ1 cup

  1. Hi, SGoodnight. You can definitely use an orange instead of the grapefruit – and throw in some of the zest, too! BonneJo4 and others with similar concerns about grapefruit: this may help you, too.
    As far as the pomegranate goes, you can substitute any non-alcoholic bitters, such as Angostura (the original used in classic champagne cocktails), which are considered to have some beneficial health properties.

  2. Some medications, like Lipitor, react negatively to interaction with grapefruit juice taken at any time. Orange juice does not. If you’re taking medications, make sure you check whether or not there is a drug interaction with grapefruit first.

  3. First time looking at what Trim Dow Club has to offer. Pink Grapefruit Moctail sounds good, but no comment on where one picks up pomegranate kernels in recipe, oh really? Please advise with recipes.
